CDA Slammers Orange to become STRIKERS FC ORANGE
On behalf of the OJSC Board, it’s my pleasure to announce our new partnership with Strikers FC beginning in the 2022-2023 season. This is an incredible opportunity to partner with the preeminent club in our region that is also an ideal fit for the values of organization. The OJSC Board is committed to offering the best possible opportunities and value for our families, and this relationship accomplishes these goals. Our partnership with Strikers FC maintains or expands the pathways available to our competitive level players while maintaining operational control of our Club at our local, OJSC level. Strikers FC boasts competitive teams at the highest levels, most notably the only MLS Next program (boys) and a highly successful girls ECNL program.
It's also my pleasure to announce that Kevin Esparza will stay on as Club Director. Kevin’s relationships with coaches, parents and the wider soccer community have been an asset throughout this process and we are grateful for his commitment to the Club. In addition to retaining Kevin, nearly every member of our coaching staff will be staying with the Club as part of our move to Strikers FC Orange.
The most noticeable change for players, families and coaches will obviously be the uniforms and apparel. Players and coaches will wear Strikers FC gear from Nike. The timing of this change occurs at an ideal time as our current uniforms have reached the end of their cycle. Teams were due to purchase new uniforms for the upcoming 22/23 season, so this should not create any unplanned expenses.
Families should expect no other significant changes as a result of this transition.
This is an exciting time for our Club. OJSC has built long-standing trust relationships with both families and other stakeholders in our community by staying true to our mission and values. We have a Club full of families, coaches and Board members who are committed to creating the best possible opportunities and environments for our players. This new partnership is a byproduct of those relationships and our Club should be proud of who we are. Let’s Go Strikers FC Orange!!

Orange Junior Soccer Club exists to provide the best environment for children in our community to learn and grow through the game of soccer. Our vision is to become the very best youth sports organization. Our commitment to our young athletes is that we will provide a safe, nurturing and positive experience that focuses on their development as a player, a teammate, a person and a valued member of our community. Orange Junior Soccer Club provides an opportunity to further this mission amongst youth seeking the highest level of play and personal/team competition.
Our club offers every type of soccer experience from a program dedicated entirely to players with special needs to our competitive program that offers the most skilled players an opportunity for success at the highest levels of play, and four recreational programs that span the entire year (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall).
