2010 4v4 Season Information

Looking for fun, fast futbol? Then look no further than our 4v4 Program. OJSC pioneered 4v4 over a decade ago and has evolved into the finest small-sided program around. Whether your child is 4½ or 19 years old, a Recreational or Premier player, 4v4 is the perfect option for those that wish to hone their skills after a great Fall season or to get a jump start on the Spring. 4v4 is the right program and the right time of year!
The 4v4 season runs from February to April. Games are played on Sundays at Grijalva Park. Please note that we play on the Saturday before the Super Bowl (rather than on Super Bowl Sunday).
"4v4" is a small-sided soccer game --four players from each team on a miniature field. Because there are fewer players and a smaller field everyone has tons of touches on the ball and chances to score! The game is played at a much higher pace which helps players hone all of the soccer techniques and tactics.
Looking for even more reason to play? How about no scores, no standings and no practices? That’s right, 4v4 is just games – fun, fast games.
Our players come from every skill and experience level (you are never too old to start to play.) Our coaches, along with all of our wonderful volunteers, are dedicated to demonstrating model behavior and creating an environment that promotes fun, fairness, skills, sportsmanship and safety. Our teams are balanced, rosters are modified and competition is matched up to ensure that the Beautiful Game of soccer is enjoyed by all. Come out and see why soccer is the most popular sport in the world!
